Lastly, there are 5 new challenges to take on and over 100 achievements to unlock if you're the completionist type. Various rooms have received makeovers, as well, to round out the list of new things that this game brings. It also builds upon the already staggering amount of collectible loot in the base game and extends it to more than 700 items. Additionally, there will be over 100 enemies and more than 25 bosses to face this time. There are two new playable characters in The Binding of Isaac: Repentance.
It introduces a whole new alternate path for the good boy to take, complete with new chapters and a different final boss and ending. Given that this will be the final update to the cult classic, it did not skimp out and handily delivers on new content.
